When Camilla Dallerup was crowned Strictly Come Dancing
Champion in December 2008 she announced that she would be leaving the show to
"take on more challenges in my career." In January this year she became GMTV's "Dancing
Queen" getting the nation fit. Some 100,000 viewers joined up for the
diet and exercise plan and the Nation lost over 4000 stone in weight. Camilla's third DVD Camilla's Cardio dance Workout was
a top ten best seller for 2Entertain. She was the legs and face of Aristoc Tights, and during that
campaign sales of tights that she endorsed trebled. In 2009 Camilla became a judge on BBC's "Skate
Nation" and took part as a celebrity contestant in Living's "Underdog
show" where she met the man she will marry this July, actor Kevin Sacre
who has now returned to Hollyoaks. The engagement was announced in Hello
magazine and it is Hello that will exclusively handle their wedding. Camilla works across all channels, including shows like
"It Takes Two," "Sky 1's Bird Watching With Bill
Bailey" "Live in Studio Five" "Five News"
and "BBC Breakfast News" as well as many others. She hosts Live events
for both Corporations and Charities, she also hosts her own Seasonal radio Show for
the BBC. She is currently a judge on BBC's Jump Nation. In December last year she was asked by ITV to go into the
jungle on "I'm a Celebrity" Camilla is a fashion icon and appears regularly in the 'best
dressed' pages of top magazines. She currently has a regular column in
Now Magazine. During the last year she has also squeezed in a
qualification for NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) which she says helps
her with her TV presenting as she has more understanding of people through it.
Camilla's ambition? She says: "To be able to use my
Passion for Presenting and eventually to have my own Television or Radio chat
show, as that could lead to anything and I love a challenge."
